Madhouse A.M. Haze

The Madhouse Brewing Company originated in Newton, Iowa, and now have a new location in Des Moines. This is their dry hopped sour that uses Amarillo and Mosaic hops. It is 6.8% ABV.

The beer pours a lightly hazy golden. There is nearly an inch of white foam head. The aroma is tart, floral, with some tropical fruit. The taste follows the aromas, very tart, very floral, with some fruit notes. The finish is very dry, with a moderate floral bitterness. The beer has a medium body and fine and intense carbonation.
