Shiner Day Quencher Session Ale

Shiner beers come from the Spoetzel Brewery in Shiner, Texas (pop. 2,070). This is their new 4.6% ABV session ale.

The beer pours a clear honey golden in color. There is an inch of white head that shortens down quickly, but lingers at that point. The aroma is bright, citrusy, with a light touch of passion fruit. The taste is bright, it follows the aromas, but it is also quite light in how it presents those flavors. The finish is dry with very light bitterness. The beer drinks easy, crisp, refreshing, and crushable.
