Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest 2018 - Weihenstephan

This 6.0% ABV beer is Sierra Nevada Brewing's 2018 take on the Oktoberfest style, brewed this year in collaboration with Germany's Weihenstephan brewery.

The beer pours a bright amber, with a tall, thick, long-lasting head of off-white head. The aroma is caramel, bread, with a bright, fruity tang. The taste follows the aromas, hitting the same notes, bread, caramel, grass, and plums. The finish is semi-dry, with moderate grassy bitterness. The beer drinks smooth with moderate carbonation.
