Firestone Walker Nitro Merlin Milk Stout

This 5.5% ABV nitro milk stout is from Firestone Walker Brewing Company of Paso Robles, California.

The beer pours black, with over an inch of very thick and rich light tan foam. The aroma is dark roasted, coffee, dark chocolate, and hazelnut. The taste follows the aromas, lots of dark roast notes, char, coffee, dark bittersweet chocolate, nutty with lots of hazelnut. There is some sweetness, but the finish is dry, with a moderate bitterness. The beer drinks ultra smooth and soft. This is amazing!
