Odell Sunny Rain

The Odell Brewing Company is in Fort Collins, Colorado. This is a 6.0% ABV golden tart that was in their newest Montage mixed 12 pack.

The beer pours a hazy golden in color. There is a half-inch of white head. The aroma is a bit dank and musky, a bit floral, with some citrus tartness. The taste follows the aromas, adding in some overripe tropical fruit with subtle mango skin and passion fruit, and a bit of old leather. The tartness is soft and subtle, not overpowering. The finish is mostly dry with mild bitterness. The beer drinks easy, with softness and carbonation in perfect equipoise. This is a great beer, and an awesome summer beer.
