The beer pours dark brown with amber
tints. There is an inch of thick, foamy light tan head. The aroma is
smokey, with some sweet caramel malt beneath. The taste follows the
aromas note for note. The finish is a bit sweet and fairly smokey,
with very light bitterness. The beer drinks easy. Smoked beers aren't
really my thing, but this one is not too bad. It would be good with a
meat and cheese tray.
