The beer pours copper and amber in
color. There is an inch of white to off-white head that fizzles down
to a thin layer. The aroma is malty, some caramel and toffee, some
cooked vegetable, with a bit of a tangy note. The taste is bright and
malty, with a bit of the cooked vegetable. The flavor comes off more
balanced than the aroma. There is some sweetness, then a mostly dry
finish, that has light bitterness. The beer drinks easy, with crisp
and refreshing carbonation.
