Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Across the World 2017: Hoppy Belgian Style Golden Ale

This is from the 2017 Beer Camp Across the World pack from Sierra Nevada brewing. This year they joined with brewers not just all over the United States, as in past years, but from around the world as well. This 8.0% ABV golden ale with lemon peel was brewed with Duvel Moortgat of Belgium. 

The beer pours a clear dark golden. There is an inch of fizzing head, not long-lasting. The aroma is sweet, very floral, light lemon, with some yeast esters. The taste follows the aromas, sweet and floral, with a citrus bite at the finish, which is moderately bitter. There is much initial carbonation, but the beer drinks smooth, with a light tingle.
