The beer pours light copper in color.
There is a billowing tall head of off-white foam. The aroma is
passion fruit, melons, floral and citrus. The taste follows the
aromas, adding in some deeper, rich tropical tones, like guava. The
beer drinks very smooth and soft, with light carbonation. The finish
is dry and moderately bitter, just tamping down what is some ample
sweetness from the malt. This is pretty good, especially considering
the price (it was just under $9 for a six pack) for decently tasty 9%
Imperial IPA.
