Arrogant Bastard Who You Callin' Wussie Pilsner

This 5.8% ABV pilsner beer is from the Arrogant Bastard Brewing Company (think Stone Brewing) of Escondido, San Diego County, California.

The beer pours a clear golden yellow, a bit of sun-bleached straw. There is an inch of pure white, foamy head. The aroma is floral, citrus, toasted grain, light barn straw. The taste is a blast of citrus and floral, a touch of honey under citrus tart, bread dough, with a grassy finish that is moderately to strongly bitter. The finish is dry. The beer drinks very crisp and refreshing. This is one very fine hopped up pilsner.
