Boulevard Amerikan Kolsch

The 12 pack samplers from Boulevard Brewing Company of Kansas City, Missouri now routinely includes two varieties of their "Tasting Room" beers; beers that have been available in their tasting room in the past, but not bottled. This is their 4.6% ABV kolsch-style ale.

The beer pours yellow golden, very lightly hazed. There is about an inch of pure white, foamy head. The aroma is honey, hay, straw and grass. The taste follows the aromas, with a light fruitiness as well. The beer drinks crisp, clean, refreshing, well carbonated, with a dry and very lightly bitter finish.
