The beer pours a deep amber and copper
in color. There is a short head of tan foam. The aroma is oak, red
wine, light toasted rye bread, a touch of flowers. The taste follows
the aromas, hitting oak, red wine, rye bread, dark fruits, mildly
spicy, all in a very balanced harmony. The beer drinks smooth, with a
vibrant tingling of carbonation reminiscent of a sparkling wine. This
is very well-done.
