The beer pours very dark brown,
appearing black, except at the very edges when held to the light.
There is nearly an inch of light tan head. The aroma is sweet, and a
bit tangy, dark roasted malt and loads of chocolate. The taste has
lots of chocolate, on dark roasted malt, but not quite as strong as
the aroma. The body is a bit thin for all the flavors, not holding
them up well. There is a light tingle of carbonation, some sweetness,
but a mostly dry finish, and the tang of dark fruits on the finish.
