The beer pours a deep, gem-like, amber
and copper in color, with tints of dark orange. There is an inch of
thick, foamy, light tan head. The aroma is toasted malt and lemon,
like toast with lemon curd on it. The taste follows the aromas,
well-toasted and lightly roasty malt, with a lemony fruit note. As
you drink, notes of tea come in, with a light hint of spicy tobacco.
There is some sweetness, but the finish is dry and moderately bitter.
The beer drinks easy and smooth with a crisp and tingling
carbonation.
