Three Floyds War Mullet Double India Pale Ale

The Three Floyds Brewing Company is in Munster, Indiana. This is an 8.1% ABV and 103 IBU double IPA. 

The beer pours a very lightly hazed orange tinted honey golden. There is over an inch of thick, foamy white to off-white head.  The aroma is citrus, oranges, pith, big, with some sweetness, like orange marmalade. The taste follows the aromas, oranges, orange marmalade, citrus peels, tea with lemon, over solid maltiness, with a touch of sweetness. The finish is dry with a moderate citrus rind bitterness. The beer drinks smooth, with tingling carbonation.
