The beer pours a dark, golden yellow in color. There is
nearly an inch of white, foamy head, but it is not too long lasting. The aroma
is lemony, a touch of grapefruit, a light herbal note, with some underlying
sweet grain. The taste follows the aromas, lemon, sweet grain, honey, light
herbal. The finish is dry and lightly bitter. The beer drinks easy, carbonated,
and thirst quenching. This is one of those nice enough, yet underwhelming,
beers. Shiner does best when they stick to lager variations.
