Squatters Off Duty IPA

This 6.5% ABV India Pale Ale is from Squatters Beers. They are part of the Utah Brewers Cooperative out of Salt Lake City, Utah.  

The beer pours hazy and the color of dried apricots. There is nearly an inch of thick, foamy white to off-white head that leaves ragged curtains of sticky lacing down the glass. The aroma is peaches, apricots, guava, passion fruit, along with a light muskiness. The taste hits the same notes as the aromas, ripe and juicy fruitiness, with a dry and moderately bitter finish. The beer drinks smooth and round with a tingle of carbonation. This is quite nice.
