The beer pours a very dark brown and ruby in color. There is
a short and short-lived head of light tan foam. The aroma is roasted and
toasted malts and grains, dark roasted malt, honey, molasses, nearing coffee
and dark chocolate. The taste follows the aromas, loads of dark roasted malt
notes, full of roasted grain, sweetness, honey, but never overly sweet,
finishing dry, but with very low bitterness. The flavors are rich and the beer
drinks very smooth, with an undertone of soft, tingling carbonation. This is
wonderfully well done.
