Gigantic IPA

This 7.3% ABV beer is from the Gigantic Brewing Company of Portland, Oregon. According to the bottle, the flavor "embiggens" with each sip (just like Jebediah Springfield).  The bottle also quotes George Clinton and says "Free your mind and your ass will follow." This India Pale Ale uses Cascade, Centennial, Crystal and Simcoe hops. 

The beer pours copper and amber in color. There is over an inch of thick, foamy off-white head. The aroma is mango and passion fruit, nicely tropical. The taste follows the aromas, nice tropical notes over solid caramel malt base, adding in orange and a touch of citrus. The bitterness on the end is moderate. It drinks easy and smooth with a light carbonation. The aftertaste is very pleasant mango. A very all around solid IPA.
