Exile Brewing Hannah

This 5.2% ABV Bavarian-style wheat ale is from the Exile Brewing Company of Des Moines, Iowa. They are a brewpub that recently began bottling their beers. 

The beer pours a cloudy copper in color. There is a tall, fizzy head of off-white foam that quickly bubbles down. The aroma is bananas, cloves, citrusy, bright, a little sweetness for a banana bread effect. The taste follows the aromas, sweet yet tangy, very fruity, bready, with the same banana notes. It is highly carbonated and drinks refreshing. Hannah’s a fine hefe!
