The beer pours a very dark brown, nearing black. There is
deep and dark ruby and garnet when held to the light. There is a short and and
short-lasting head of light tan foam. The aroma is mild, sweet, darkened sugar,
some dark roasted malt. The taste follows the aromas, sweet, darkened sugars,
toasted wheat creeping to darkly roasted. It drinks with a fairly full body and
very light carbonation. There is a coffee like bitterness on the end. Very
sweet, but never cloying, subtly done, but very tasty.
