The beer pours an amber and apricot in color. It has a tall
head of thick off-white foam. The aroma is citrus, pithy, passion fruit, lots
of orange, grapefruit rind. The taste follows the aromas, adds in a healthy
dose of caramel malt, and ends in a very grapefruit bitterness. It is medium
bodied, nearing full-bodied as far as IPA’s go, it has both tingling
carbonation and some smoothness. This is a pretty damn fine East Coast IPA.
