Three Floyds Jinx Proof Lager

The Three Floyds Brewing Company is in Munster, Indiana and makes several very sought after brews. This 5.1% lager is named after Jinx Proof Tattoo in Washington, D.C.

The beer pours golden yellow in color. There is a tall head of fairly thick white foam. The aroma is lightly sweet grain, touch of apple/plum and honey, bit of straw, and lightly grassy. The taste follows the aromas, the taste is more deep and rich than the aroma, more malted, more herbal, more grassy, more taste of honey without the sweetness. The finish is quite bitter and grassy. The beer drinks smooth and round, but still with a tingle in its carbonation. This is a very nice American lager.
