The beer pours a very dark golden in color, but clear. There
is over an inch of white fizzy head that does not last long. The aroma is
malty, grain, semi-sweet, full of straw, pleasantly sulfurous. The taste
follows the aromas directly, the end is dry and grassy. It is well carbonated
and drinks very crisp and refreshing.
This is damn good. People of the world, put down your Bud, Miller, Coors and take up a Round Barn Kolsch!
