The beer pours a dark golden with a tinge of bronze. There
is a short white head. The aroma is very tart, a bit funky and earthy, a touch
of wood. The taste follows the aromas directly, with a very smooth melding of
the tart (throwing off fruity notes), the funk and the wood. There is a bit of
a white wine quality, a very tart pinot grigio mixed with a round and oaky
chardonnay. The beer is smooth and
round, yet tart.
