The beer pours a dark chestnut brown with burnt orange and
garnet. There is a relatively short head of very light brown foam, with a touch
of creaminess to it. The aroma is lightly malty, a bit roasted and toasted,
fruity, strawberries and cherries, with a light herbal note. The taste is
fruity and a bit roasted, with a hint of pine and herbs. It is medium bodied,
easy drinking (hard to believe it is 8.3% ABV ),
moderately carbonated, with a light bitterness on the finish, fairly dry. This
is a fairly unique beer, hard to categorize, but certainly tasty.
