The beer pours a hazy apricot, amber and lightly burnt
orange in color. There is a short head of off-white to very light tan head. The
aroma is light apricot, almost apricot liqueur, over toasted malt, with a clove
and fruit addition from the Belgian yeast. The taste follows the aromas quite
directly, with a mouth-smacking tartness on the end. It finishes fairly dry. It
is medium-bodied and smooth in the mouth.

Lakefront Anniversary Series Belgian-Style Apricot Ale
It is the 25th Anniversary year for the Lakefront Brewery of Milwaukee, Wisconsin (okay, I'll admit to being confused here, the bottle says "Since 1987", so 25 years would be 2012 and it is 2013 and this was bottled on June 13, 2013, guess they started up in late 1987?). For their anniversary, wherever it falls exactly, they are brewing a series of limited edition beers. This one is a 6.0% ABV ale brewed with apricot puree.
