Widmer Okto Festival Ale

Widmer Brothers Brewing is from Portland, Oregon. This beer is a seasonal Oktoberfest release that comes in at 5.3% ABV.

The beer pours a crystal clear copper in color. There is a short head of off-white to very light brown ale that leaves some sticky and clinging lacing on the glass.   The aroma is malty, roasted and toasted, caramel.  The taste is very malty, a touch of caramel, roasted, toasted, rich.  The finish is lightly to moderately bitter, a bit grassy, dry. This has great malty flavors that come to an abrupt finish, a classic Oktoberfest style beer!
