Great River Dos Pistolas Dark Beer

The Great River Brewery is in Davenport, Iowa (along the great Mississippi River) and has a solid line-up of brews.The beer pours a dark chestnut brown with over an inch of light brown foamy head. The aroma is mild dark roasted malt and brown sugar. The taste is very light, some roasted malt with caramel, finishing with an unpleasant metallic and soapy note. I have enjoyed all of Great River's beers, but this one is weak.
