Oaken Barrel Gnaw Bone Pale Ale

The Oaken Barrel Brewing Company is in Greenwood, Indiana. I love the name and the label on this. It is a 5.8% ABV American pale ale. The beer pours a slightly hazy amber and burnt orange in color. There is a tall half-inch of bubbly and foamy off-white head that leaves lacing down the glass. The aroma is fruity, stone fruits, floral, caramel malt. The taste is stone fruit and caramel malt, toast with jam, tea with lemon, with a moderately bitter and dry finish. It is medium bodied, nicely carbonated and also smooth. This is a really excellent pale ale.
