This 4.2% ABV is from the Erie Brewing Company of Erie, Pennsylvania. It is named after an island in Lake Erie. The beer pours a light honey golden with a slight haze. There is over an inch of pure white head that dissipates fairly rapidly. The aroma is malt forward, particularly for a pilsner style, and it has a strange aroma of watered down scotch. The taste follows the aromas, malty, malted barley like a distillery, with that light watered down scotch note (light whiskey and smoke). As a pilsner this is disappointing, they should think of a new name for it that matches its flavor.
