Bluegrass Brewing Company Amber Ale

This is a German-style altbier from BBC, or the Bluegrass Brewing Company, of Louisville, Kentucky. The beer pours a true-to-form amber in color. There is a short head of off-white foam. The aroma is malty, caramel, sweet and tangy, with a touch of nutty. The taste has toasted and roasted malt, caramel, with a dry finish. It is medium bodied, and a good take on an altbier.
