Beer Here Lupulus
Beer Here is from Denmark, but this bottle indicates is was brewed at DeProef, Lochristi , Belgium. This beer is 4.7% ABV and takes its name from the Latin word for hops, Humulus Lupulus, with Lupulus meaning "wolf."
The beer pours dark golden and orange, apricot colored. There is a tall head of thick and somewhat creamy foam, off-white in color. The aroma is hop forward, fruity, citrus, zesty, floral, with light aromatic tropical fruit. The taste is fruity, floral, grassy, citrusy, zesty and refreshing hop flavors, floating lightly on just enough malt to present the hops to you. The finish is moderately bitter and dry. There is a tingling and refreshing carbonation, but not too out front, and the beer is medium bodied. This makes a very nice sessionable American Pale Ale.
