Wasatch Ghostrider White IPA

This 6.0% ABV white India Pale Ale is from Wasatch, part of the Utah Brewers Cooperative of Salt Lake City, Utah. The beer pours a hazy lemon meringue yellow. It has a tall foamy and fizzy head, white in color, somewhere between sea foam and meringue. The head bubbles raggedly away. The aroma is hop forward and fruity, orange, tropical, citrus, lemon and apricot. The taste follows the aromas, lots of hop fruit flavors over both toasted wheat and some of the yeasty tang of a white ale. The finish is moderately bitter. It is well carbonated and gives a refreshing sting. This is excellent!
