Meteor Biere de Noel

I'm obviously a little late getting to this 5.8% ABV Christmas beer from Brasserie Meteor of Hochfelden, France. The beer pours a light and clear amber and copper in color. There is a tall head of thick white foam. The aroma is malty grain and straw. The taste is lightly sweet malted grain, touch of caramel, straw, grassy, with a moderate bitterness. It is well carbonated, with a smooth mouthfeel. Flavorful and drinkable, better late than never to this one!
