Schlagl Urquell

This is a 5.0% ABV marzen beer from the Stifts Braueri Schlagl of Aigen, Austria. The beer pours a dark golden in color and there is an inch of thick white foam. The aroma is malty, slightly sweet, sweet potato, straw, grain stored in an old wood barn. The taste is nice and malty, sweet offset by grassy, straw. This is very nice!
