O'Fallon Rager Red

The O'Fallon Brewery is in O'Fallon, Missouri. This is a 5.5% ABV Irish Red Ale. The beer pours russet red and chestnut brown. There is a short, thin head of off-white foam. The aroma is smokey and peaty, caramel malt. The taste follows the aromas, lots of peaty smoke, deep caramel, with a tang of hops on the end. They should push this as a rauchbier instead of an Irish ale.
