Mikkeller I Beat You

Mikkeller is a brewery based in Denmark. It beers its brews in breweries all over the world. This beer was brewed at BrewDog in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is a 9.75% ABV American style Imperial IPA. The beer pours slightly hazy and a deep and dark copper and amber. There is a short and thin head off white foam. The aroma is spicy, piney, fruity, vinous almost boozy, overripe melons, with a lot of caramel malt. The taste is malty, caramel malt, lots of tea and lemon, boozy, and melons, with a fairly bitter finish. The mouthfeel flips from fairly heavy to quite light and back again. It is very lightly carbonated. Interesting, tasty, worth a try.
