The Titanic Brewery is in Stoke-On-Trent, England, the hometown of the captain of the Titanic. Had the Titanic not sunk, it would have docked at Pier 54 in New York. This is a 5.9% ABV India Pale Ale.
The beer pours a light copper, and dark golden orange in color. There is a short and thin white head. The aroma is lightly fruity, lightly lemony, lightly floral. The taste follows the aromas over a toasted malt base, with a finish both tart and bitter. It is moderately bitter and dry. The mouthfeel is a tad watery and could use either more carbonation, or more creaminess, or both. A decent, but in no way exceptional, English IPA.
