This 4.5% ABV lager is made from ingredients grown at Laverstoke Park. I like their simple hand-drawn farmer. The beer pours golden yellow in color with a pure white head that dissipates quite rapidly. It is well carbonated. The aroma is malty golden grain, some fresh straw, slightly sweet with a nice funky hoppiness. The taste follows the aromas directly. The finish is moderately bitter and dry. It has some crispness, but is a tad watery in the mouth. Overall this is a nice and tasty lager, a real easy drinker.
