O'Dempsey's In-uk-shuk IPA

The O'Dempsey's line of beers hails from Georgia, but the bottles are brewed for them by the Thomas Creek Brewery of Greenville, South Carolina. The beer takes its name from the balanced rock sculptures shown on the bottle, which are called Inukshuks. "Beer to Die For" is their motto.

This 7.0% ABV beer pours a brownish, amber color like the color of dark cream soda. There is a tall inch of thick and creamy off-white foam. The aroma is fairly muted, a lot of orange, light citrus and a noticeable malt with a touch of caramel. The taste is richly malty, toasted, a touch of caramel, with creamy orange and a smooth bitterness. It is not a blow your socks off West-coast style IPA, but it is tasty and very drinkable.
