Magic Hat Hex Ourtoberfest

Magic Hat Brewing Company  is from South Burlington, Vermont. This beer is 5.4% ABV. According to the bottle, "A performance in every bottle." They always have a saying under each bottle cap, mine: "Full throttle bottle".

The beer pours a dark copper in color. There is a tall, foamy, somewhat creamy head of off-white foam. The aroma is of slight, a bit of sweet caramel, nutty and toasted. The taste follows the aromas, but is also fairly light, although there is a strong bitter finish. There is also a light smokey element in the background. It finishes quite dry.
