Lagunitas Hop Stoopid

This 8.0% ABV India pale ale is from the Lagunitas Brewing Company of Petaluma, California. It has 102 I.B.U.'s. The beer pours a glistening copper in color. There is a tall head of thick off-white foam. The aroma is hop forward, with lots of citrus, orange and pine. There is a lighter tropical fruit note as well. The taste follows the aromas, adding tea with lemon. The aromas and taste are nice and clean and bright. The finish is strongly, but smoothly bitter, and astringently dry apropos of a grapefruit rind. This is an all around solid IPA.
