Fort Collins Brewery The Incredible Hop Imperial Rye IPA

This beer is part of the Incredible Hop series from The Fort Collins Brewery of Fort Collins, Colorado. The beer pours an autumn brown orange in color, a touch cloudy. There is nearly an inch of thick and creamy off-white foam. The aroma is very nutty, tangy, orange. The taste follows the aroma, lots of nut and orange, with the dry bitterness of tea, tobacco and lots of hops. An interesting take on an IPA, but not great.
