Eastern Shore Brewing is from Michaels, Maryland. This is a 6.8% ABV India Pale Ale that is made with Simcoe, Columbus and Cascade hops.
The beer pours a slightly hazy copper and amber in color. There is a short head of somewhat creamy off-white head. The aroma is very floral, a tart cherry juice like fruit, and a touch of yeasty earthiness. The taste follows the aroma, this drinks like a very earthy, yeasty kriek. So, as an IPA, this is a total failure, but it is actually an interesting tasting beer. I don't know if I got an odd bottle, or if it is always like this.
