O'Fallon Kite Tail Summer Ale

The O'Fallon Brewery is in O'Fallon, Missouri.  This beer is their new summer seasonal, a 4.5% ABV cream ale.

The beer pours a very pale yellow golden in color.  It has an inch head of creamy white foam that leaves medium lacing down the glass.  The aroma is tart, citrusy and green apple over golden grains.  The taste reverses the aromas, with smooth, light, malty grain being followed by the tart citrus and green apple.  It is very creamy and finishes smooth, rather than tart.  Interesting, but very macro tasting.
