This 5.3% ABV beer pours a medium brown and amber in color. It is fairly dark, but still clear. There is a rapidly dissipating head of off-white to light brown foam. The aroma is malty, nutty, with a light tang, some tea and very light fruit. The taste is a nice roasted and toasted malt, nutty, tea with lemon on the finish. It drinks fairly well carbonated, light on the mouth, with a dry and subtly bitter finish. There is a slight off-note in the aftertaste, but otherwise this is a very nice dark lager.
