The Abita Brewing Company is in Abita Springs, Louisiana. If I recall correctly, their brewery was damaged during Hurricane Katrina.

This 6.5% ABV beer pours copper in color, with orange and amber. There is a half-inch of foamy and creamy head that is off-white in color. The aroma is malty, caramel, with some fruit and herbal spice from the hops. This smells like a good Oktoberfest beer would. The taste is richly and satisfyingly malty, just a touch of sweet potato, and the exact right amount of hops so that it finishes lightly bitter and not overly sweet. This is really nice.
