Coney Island Freaktoberfest

This is from the Schmaltz Brewing Company of Saratoga Springs, New York.  Proceeds from the Coney Island beers help Coney Island USA in its mission to "defend the honor of lost forms of popular American arts and culture..."

This 6.66% ABV beer is brewed with six malts and six hops.  It pours red in color, like a vampire's drink in an old technicolor movie, with a large head of light red/pink foam.  The aroma is very malty, some sweet potato.  The taste follows the aroma and has a bitter finish.  Cute concept, blah beer.
