Alaskan Brewing Co. - IPA; Summer Kolsch-Style Ale

The Alaskan Brewing Company is in Juneau, Alaska.

This 6.2% ABV India Pale Ale pours a dark honey golden with an orange tint.  There is a small white head.  The aroma is hoppy, tropical fruit and melon, with spicy notes on a malty base.  The taste is cantalopue, tea with lemon, just a hint of pine, on a solid malt base and with a dry and medium bitter finish.  This is a solid, but not exceptional IPA.
